What is the exchange between the flower and the bee? They give and take freely. Us civilized Humans have made this pure exchange of need and reciprocity into a transaction. Reducing nature to a commodity.

In exchange based relationships there is benefit to everybody.
In transactional relations, nature always loses.
This exchange based on trust is the Gift Economy, a natural law. An exchange can be based in trust, transaction, or mistrust. In nature, it is always an exchange, an interdependence of Living Beings. In economic law an exchange is a transaction, an independent transaction of Cold Commodities.
